About Zero Latency VR Brisbane
Zero Latency VR Brisbane is a free-roam virtual reality arena on Chester Street in Newstead. Players roam an area close to tennis-court size with a wireless headset and a controller, so there are no cables, backpacks or suits to deal with. Teammates appear as avatars around you, and up to eight players share the same game in real time. Experiences run for 15 to 30 minutes, and bundles of 45 to 60 minutes let a group play more than one title. The range covers family-friendly puzzle worlds, zombie survival and team battles, and no VR experience is needed. A host takes everyone through the headset, the controls and moving in the arena before the game begins. For team days and celebrations, groups can hire a private room or take over the entire venue, and groups larger than eight play back-to-back games. Weekday bookings come with group discounts and a choice of package lengths. Outside food is not allowed unless catering has been arranged for a group booking, so many groups head to the restaurants on James Street afterwards. Send an enquiry with your numbers and preferred date to set up a group booking.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can play together?
A single game takes a maximum of eight players. Larger groups are split across back-to-back games, and the venue can also be booked as a private room or as a whole for bigger events.
Is there a minimum age?
Zero Latency's standard rule is that players must be 13 or over, though age requirements can vary by experience. Players affected by alcohol or drugs are not allowed to play and will not get a refund.
How long does a game last?
Each experience runs for 15 to 30 minutes depending on the title, and bundles of 45 to 60 minutes are available. The price includes a 10 to 15 minute safety briefing, so plan to arrive about 20 minutes early.
Can we bring food or drinks?
Outside food and drink are not allowed unless catering has been organised for a group booking or event. A vending machine on site stocks light snacks and soft, sports and energy drinks.
What should we wear, and can I wear glasses?
Wear comfortable clothes and sensible shoes, as the game is active and high heels are not suitable. Contact lenses are recommended, though small-framed glasses can fit under the headset.

Really cool and fun game. Went there with my 12 years old boy. He had a blast. Erin was professional and fun. She guided us nicely through it. Will definitely be back for my son's Birthday with his mates.
