About Penny Portraits Booth
Penny Portraits Booth is a 1968 caravan that has been restored and fitted out as a walk-in photo booth. Painted blush pink and dressed with dried-floral fans, a light-up Photos sign and white cane chairs, the caravan sits on the lawn or terrace and becomes a styled feature of the event as well as the booth itself. Inside, a professional ring light and a touch-screen monitor take the photos, which are filtered and personalised before a fast printer turns them into photo strips straight away. Guests can choose from a large range of props – flower headpieces, feathered masks, heart-shaped sunglasses and other quirky accessories – so each frame comes out different. The caravan's temperature can be adjusted to suit the weather, which keeps it comfortable through summer and winter. A host from the team looks after the booth for the whole hire, helping guests with props and keeping the queue moving. Strips are unlimited in every package, and after the event you get a link to download every original image in a private online gallery. The booth is based in Scarborough and travels to events across Brisbane, with a travel charge added for longer trips and a generator available at extra cost for sites without power. Packages run for four, six or eight hours, and longer bookings can be quoted on request – send an enquiry to book.

What hire lengths does Penny Portraits Booth offer?
There are three packages – Buttercup for 4 hours at $650, Daffodil for 6 hours at $850 and Poppy for 8 hours at $950. A different length can be quoted on request.
What is included in each package?
Every package includes the touch-screen monitor, fashion lighting, unlimited personalised photo strips, the props and accessories, delivery, set-up and pack-down, plus a download link to the full gallery of originals.
Does the caravan need power at the venue?
The booth needs a power supply. If your site has none, a generator can be supplied for an extra charge – mention this when you send your enquiry.
Are there extra travel costs?
The booth is based in Scarborough and travels across Brisbane. A travel charge applies on top of the package price depending on where the event is held.
Is there someone to look after the booth during the event?
Yes. A friendly host stays with the caravan for the hire, guiding guests through the props and making sure every strip prints for them.
