About Zone Bowling Capalaba
Zone Bowling Capalaba is a standalone ten-pin centre on Currumbin Court with 20 full-size lanes and comfortable booth seating. It caters to league regulars and first-timers alike, so a mixed group of keen and casual bowlers can play together. Up to six people share a lane, and bigger groups are placed on lanes next to each other. A game for five or six bowlers usually takes 45 minutes to an hour, so a two-game booking fills most of an afternoon or evening. Two party rooms are kept for birthdays, work functions and team celebrations. Birthday packages for kids, teens and adults include a host, a reserved space and arcade play, and parties usually run two to three hours. Work and social packages for 15 or more guests pair one or two games with pizzas and share platters. Drink packages and extra platters can be added, and the venue looks after the set-up and clean-up. The arcade has more than 35 games, from themed pinball to driving and shooting cabinets, and a prize shop swaps tickets for gadgets and lollies. A licensed cafe serves food and drinks, the venue has disability access, and parking is right outside. Send an enquiry with your date and group size to plan a party.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can bowl on each lane?
Six is the limit for one lane. A group of more than six is given two or more lanes side by side, and a game for five or six players takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour.
What does a work or social group package cost?
The entry-level work and social package starts from $35 per person for one game with pizzas and a potato platter, and larger packages add a second game, a welcome drink and more food. These packages need at least 15 guests.
Can we bring our own food or a cake?
Outside food and drink is not allowed in the centre, but a birthday cake is the exception. Party packages include food, the cafe sells meals and snacks, and extra platters can be ordered for the group.
What footwear is allowed on the lanes?
Boots, heels, thongs, crocs and sandals are not permitted. Clean, dry trainers are fine, or bowling shoes can be collected from the service counter, and socks are sold at the venue for anyone who forgets a pair.
How many guests can come to a birthday party?
Birthday bookings start at 10 guests, including the guest of honour, and up to 25 can be booked in the standard way. Larger parties can often be accommodated, so mention your numbers when you send an enquiry.
