About MANIAX Brisbane CBD
MANIAX Brisbane CBD is an axe throwing venue in a city basement, with its entrance down Burnett Lane. Every booking opens with a safety briefing, then a coach teaches the group to throw three kinds of axe before the games and tournaments begin. Sessions run for one or two hours depending on the package. With 6 group lanes plus 10 single lanes, the venue can host up to 180 throwers, so it handles anything from a date night to a company event. Packages cover hens and bucks parties, birthdays, weekday team building and work Christmas parties, and larger groups can take over the whole space. Groups of 13 or more on the hens and bucks package get their own host, and staff stay with every lane to help with technique. The kitchen sends out pizzas, giant beef ribs and fried chicken, and the Ragnar & Sons bar pours craft beer, cocktails and MANIAX mead. Bigger packages add a drinks hour or a Viking feast, and a birthday cake can be brought along. Throwers must be 11 or older, closed-toe shoes are required, and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
