Adept Event Hire is a family-owned hire company run from Albion in Brisbane's inner north. It supplies the practical and decorative pieces that turn a backyard, park or hall into an event space, and it serves families, schools, event planners and businesses. Marquees are a big part of the range, from pop-up shelters for a backyard birthday to larger structures that cover a wedding reception or school fete. Inside, hirers can choose from more than ten chair styles, including gold Tiffany, rustic bistro and peacock chairs, along with round, trestle, timber, bar and cocktail tables. Glassware, plates, cutlery and serving pieces are offered as full tableware packages. For atmosphere there are festoon lights, market umbrellas and patio heaters, and the styling range covers backdrops, shimmer walls, plinths, arbours and light-up letters and numbers. Specialty items include glow furniture, champagne walls, drink tubs, dance floors, crowd barriers and speakers. Clients can take the full service, with the team delivering, setting up and packing everything down, or collect a DIY party kit from the self-serve lockers and set it up themselves.
