About Scottish Arms
The Scottish Arms is a pub on Boardman Road in East Bowral, opened in 2007 by the Robertson family and styled on an 18th-century Scottish inn. Tartan, including the family's own, and Scottish historical pieces line the bistro. The pub has three areas to work with. There is the bistro and bar, the Scotland Yard beer garden outside, and a private function room tucked away from the main bar. The function room is offered for parties, music events, conferences and weddings. The bistro also handles large group bookings indoors and out, and there is plenty of parking on site. For seated functions the kitchen runs an alternate-drop menu for groups of 40 or more, with entrées such as pork belly bites and arancini, mains like braised beef cheeks, lamb shank and wagyu rump, and desserts including sticky date pudding. A finger food menu with pies, skewers, tartlets and sausage rolls suits stand-up events. The bar pours beer on tap alongside craft beer, wine and spirits. The beer garden's roof rests on old turpentine wharf timbers, giving it a sturdy, shaded feel for outdoor drinks. The pub trades every day from midday, serving lunch and dinner. Send an enquiry to talk through a function in the private room.
