About Berida Hotel

Berida Hotel occupies a house on David Street in Bowral that was built in 1925 as a family home and now runs as a boutique hotel. Ivy covers the arches out front, and inside the hallways open onto art-filled lounges, a games room and a large pin oak in the grounds. Functions here are small and seated. The hotel hosts gatherings of up to 40 guests across two private dining rooms, and also offers canapé selections for those who would rather stand and mingle over drinks. The Berida Room is the larger space, seating up to 40 for a sit-down meal with tables arranged to suit the group. The Ambrose Room takes smaller parties around a single square table, and the menus list it for groups of about a dozen. Food comes from Bistro Sociale, the hotel's own restaurant. Private dining groups choose between a share-style set menu and an alternate-drop plated menu, built around dishes such as slow-cooked lamb shoulder, dry-aged sirloin and house-made gnocchi. Aspinalls Bar & Lounge sits at the other end of the hotel and turns into a bar in the evenings, with a wine list overseen by a sommelier, classic cocktails, gins and whisky. It makes an easy spot for drinks before or after a private dinner. The hotel lists birthday dinners, Christmas lunches and board or post-conference dinners among the occasions it hosts. Send an enquiry with your numbers and preferred date, and the team will plan the menu and room with you.
