The estate grew from the Hordern family's country retreat, and its gardens, fireplaces and heritage rooms still set the tone for every event. The main event room is The Ballroom, with floor-to-ceiling windows, polished timber floors and views across the grounds. It takes up to 140 guests for a dinner with dancing, and the layout can be shaped to suit the theme. For smaller groups, Viola's Private Dining Room seats up to 28 at the table or holds 50 for a standing party. Horderns Restaurant suits groups of eight to ten, and The Polo Bar offers a fireside lounge for drinks. Outdoors, the Tulip Lawn is used for wedding ceremonies, and terraces and lawns allow guests to move between rooms and gardens. Celebration packages include an arrival drink, seasonal canapés or grazing, a plated or shared menu, linen and table settings, background music or in-house audio, event signage and a dedicated host. Florals, live musicians and a private bar can be added through the hotel's partners. Wedding packages bring exclusive use of selected spaces, a choice of formal courses or a relaxed reception, and a coordinator for the day.
