About Centennial Vineyards Restaurant
Centennial Vineyards Restaurant sits on Centennial Road on the edge of Bowral, surrounded by vines and open Southern Highlands farmland. Day to day it serves lunch, high tea and Devonshire tea, with seasonal menus built around local produce. For functions there are four spaces to choose from. The main restaurant is one large room with six-metre ceilings, exposed beams, hardwood floors and antique furniture, and full-length windows look out over the vines and the paved courtyard. Together the restaurant and verandah seat 180 guests or hold 300 for a cocktail event. The verandah alone takes up to 60, with bi-fold doors that open onto the vineyard view, which suits a smaller gathering. The courtyard is built from pale sandstone around a large open fireplace and a fountain, in a Tuscan style. It holds the same numbers as the restaurant and can take a marquee for outdoor events. Upstairs, the private Vineyard Room is set aside for groups of more than 12 adults, up to 80 guests, with a venue hire fee of $400. The restaurant suggests it for hens groups, baby showers, intimate weddings and other private occasions. Weddings can include a garden ceremony, a dinner inside by the fire in winter, or drinks and canapés on the patio in warmer months. The owner and chef plans a menu for each wedding, and the team also offers brunch or lunch packages for the day after, with a private room for guests.
