About Hawks Nest Golf Club
Hawks Nest Golf Club sits on Sanderling Avenue in Hawks Nest, with Bennetts Beach close by and Hawks Nest Beach about 500 metres from the clubhouse. Alongside its 18-hole course, the club runs a function business out of the clubhouse for weddings, celebrations and corporate groups. There are two main function rooms. The View Room is the larger, seating 150 or holding 200 for a cocktail party, and it looks across the course out to a covered pergola. The Green Room suits smaller groups, with 60 seated or 80 standing, and can be arranged for banquet dining or a mingling format. A board room for up to 20 rounds out the clubhouse spaces for meetings and workshops. Each function room has its own private bar. The View Room has space for a band and a dance floor, plus a projector screen with HDMI for presentations, while the Green Room has TV facilities. Food comes from the kitchen at Sando's, the club's own restaurant, with options running from share platters to set menus made with local produce. Food and drink packages can be shaped around the event, and a function manager looks after the details on the day. For work groups, the club can supply a stage, lectern, PA system and projector, and corporate golf days can be organised through the pro shop with carts, hire clubs, prizes and catering.
