About Heaven Gardens
Heaven Gardens is a family-owned garden venue on Lemon Tree Passage Road in Salt Ash, on the Tilligerry Peninsula side of Port Stephens. The property covers more than five acres of private grounds, with rainforest walks, a large fishpond and a boardwalk leading out to views over Pelican Creek and Tilligerry National Park. Every booking has the whole property to itself. The centrepiece is the Pavilion, a 160 square metre timber-framed room with high ceilings and plenty of daylight, seating up to 120 at long timber tables. A dance floor sits right alongside, and festoon and fairy lights take over once the sun goes down. The venue holds up to 150 guests for a cocktail-style event or 120 seated. Ceremony and reception hire includes a timber arbour, ceremony chairs, lawn games, a fire pit on request, Wi-Fi and a PA system with microphones and party lighting that plays music straight from your phone. Heaven Gardens is self-catered, so you bring in your own caterer, whether that means a barbecue, grazing tables, food trucks or a plated dinner. Drinks are BYO too, but the venue's own RSA staff serve them from a custom-built timber bar with keg-ready taps and commercial fridges. Weddings are the main focus, but the owners also host birthday parties, baby showers, high teas with a garden tour and pre-wedding celebrations. Music and the bar wind up at 11pm, everyone leaves by midnight, and there is no accommodation on the property.

Bar hire with RSA staff, glassware and seven hours of service is $1,595 for up to 50 guests or $2,145 for up to 100, with larger numbers quoted on enquiry. Clean-up crews, a tea and coffee station and other extras are priced separately, and the venue notes its prices can change.
Food
Every vendor needs the venue's approval and current public liability insurance, and the owners can share a list of local suppliers they work with regularly.

How many guests can Heaven Gardens hold?
Up to 150 for a standing, cocktail-style event, or 120 seated in the Pavilion. Long timber tables and 150 white chairs are part of the standard set-up.
Can we bring our own caterer and drinks?
Yes – the venue is fully self-catered, so you choose the caterer and supply all the drinks. The venue's RSA-licensed staff run the bar, only standard drinks are served, and guests can't bring their own drinks or eskies.
What does ceremony and reception hire cost?
Ceremony and reception hire is $8,690, with exclusive use of the property from midday the day before your event to midday the day after. Bar hire is extra, starting at $1,595 for up to 50 guests.
What time do events finish?
Music and bar service must stop by 11pm, and all guests need to be off the property by midnight. There's no accommodation on site.
Does Heaven Gardens host events other than weddings?
