About Pretty As A Picture Events
Pretty As A Picture Events is a boutique Brisbane styling business that dresses parties with balloon garlands, arched backdrops, florals and hire props. The work spans milestone birthdays, kids' parties, baby showers and gender reveals, weddings and corporate events. Most set-ups start with a backdrop. Curved arch panels in white, pink and printed finishes are framed by organic balloon garlands in your chosen colours, with white plinths, artificial flower arrangements and a personalised sign naming the guest of honour. Light-up numbers add the age for a 30th or 40th, and the business offers styling packages built around them. Themed hire is a big part of the range. Children's parties can take a set of three Bluey arches, a Barbie arch backdrop or Barbie box, or the Kid-chella festival backdrop, while character cut-outs and soft play round out a kids' corner. For larger celebrations there is a two-metre metal Ferris wheel prop, a lolly cart for displaying treats and the Celeste layered 3D arch. Businesses can also order freestanding balloon columns to mark a launch, shop front or function. Prices for each item are published, with delivery charged on top for larger pieces and a refundable bond on some props. Send an enquiry with your date, venue and theme to book.

Frequently asked questions
What does Pretty As A Picture Events style?
The business builds balloon garlands, columns and arched backdrops, adds artificial florals and signage, and hires themed props, so a party corner or photo wall arrives styled around your colours.
Are there themed backdrops for kids' parties?
Yes. The hire range includes a set of three Bluey arches, a Barbie arch backdrop of 210cm by 210cm, a Barbie box and a Kid-chella festival backdrop measuring 210cm by 120cm.
How much does a balloon column cost?
A balloon column is listed at $60, which suits a launch, shop front or function room. Full styling such as the gender reveal package with two arches is priced at $450.
Is delivery included in the price?
Not always. The Celeste 3D layered arch, for example, is priced at $150 with delivery charged on top, so ask for the delivery cost to your venue when you send an enquiry.
Is there a bond on hire props?
Some props carry a refundable security bond, including the lolly cart at $150. The bond is returned once the item comes back in good condition after your event.
