About Alex Hills Putt Putt
Alex Hills Putt Putt is the outdoor mini golf course at the Alexandra Hills Hotel on Finucane Road. It has 12 greens and 48 holes, because each green carries pins for kids, beginners, intermediate and advanced players, so everyone in a group can find a level that suits. The greens wind between boulders, palms and garden beds, and lights let play run into the evening. Players go round in groups of up to six, and larger parties tee off a few minutes apart. The course is licensed, the kiosk sells snacks and drinks during the game, and the hotel bistro is there for a fuller meal before or after. Allow around 40 minutes on a quiet weekday and about an hour at busy times. Kids' birthday packages include a reserved party area for three hours, food, cordial, soft serve or a BYO cake and use of the playground, and they suit children from five. For adults there are three 18+ party packages with 12 holes, shared food and a drink on arrival, and the hotel also hosts work parties and team building. How long does a round take?
Plan on about 40 minutes on weekdays before 5pm, and around an hour in the evenings, on weekends and during school holidays, when there can be a short wait to tee off.
How much are the adult party packages?
There are three 18+ packages: the Classic Party at $50 per person with pizza or hot dogs, chips and a drink on arrival, the Signature Party at $60 with premium finger food, and the Premium Party at $70 with a nine-item selection and sweets.
What is included in a kids' party?
Kids' packages start from $35 per child and include a reserved party area for three hours, popcorn, pizza or mini hot dogs, fries or fruit, cordial and water, playground access and soft serve, or bring your own cake with no cakeage charge.
How big can our group be?
Any number can play, but players go around in groups of six or fewer, teeing off a few minutes apart. Kids' parties of up to 20 can be booked directly, and larger groups should send an enquiry.
What happens if it rains?
The course is outdoors and play continues in light showers for anyone happy to get wet. If rain stops the game, a rain check can be arranged at the kiosk so the group can come back at another time.
