About Aussie Inflatables
Aussie Inflatables is an inflatable hire business based at North Maclean in Logan. Its range runs from themed jumping castles and dry slides to long obstacle courses, water slides and interactive team games, and it also puts on outdoor movie screenings. The obstacle courses are the centrepiece. Some are built from several joined sections with tunnels, pop-up pillars, climbing walls and a slide at the end, and pieces can be hired on their own or combined into a bigger course. The business also runs Fun Run Fever, an inflatable obstacle fun run built around a giant climbing wall, which schools and clubs can hire for fundraisers. Bookings cover backyard birthday parties as well as school reward days, sports club presentations, OSHC programs and community festivals. The crew delivers, sets up and secures each inflatable, then hands it over once it is ready to use. Safety sits at the heart of how the business works. Engineers independently check and certify each inflatable before it is hired out, and a written wind and wet-weather policy explains when to stop play, switch off the blower and cover the leads. A responsible grown-up must supervise the whole time, with limits on how many children use each unit at once. Delivery is charged by distance from the North Maclean base, starting at $35 for the closest addresses. Frequently asked questions
What kinds of inflatables does Aussie Inflatables hire out?
The range covers inflatable obstacle courses, themed jumping castles, water slides and dry slides, and interactive sports and team games. Outdoor movie screenings are offered as well.
How is delivery charged?
Delivery is priced on the distance from the North Maclean base to your address along main roads. The table starts at $35 for the first 20 km and rises in steps for longer trips.
What happens if it rains or gets windy?
If rain falls, children come off, the blower is switched off and unplugged, and the leads are covered. When wind reaches 30 km/h the inflatable must be cleared and shut down, and a weather cancellation can be rebooked within three months.
What does the set-up area need?
The crew needs a level, safe surface it can peg into, clear access, no overhead power lines and any underground pipes or cables marked out. Power must be within 40 metres, and water within 20 metres for water slides.
Who supervises the inflatable during the party?
The hirer provides a responsible supervisor aged 18 or over who watches the inflatable the whole time. Playground-style castles take six to eight children at once, while obstacle courses send two through at a time.
