R & R Hire Services is a family-owned hire business on Beerburrum Road in Caboolture, serving Moreton Bay and Brisbane's northside since the early 1990s. Alongside builders' equipment, it runs a large party and wedding range, and the yard is open seven days. Marquees are the centrepiece. Red-and-white or white peg-and-pole marquees come in 5.5m and 7.3m series in a range of lengths, while 6m and 10m structure marquees can be weighted down on hard surfaces. Pagodas, pop-ups and market stalls fill the smaller sizes. Window or solid walls, flooring and silk lining with chandeliers are available, and the team delivers, erects and removes the larger marquees. Inside, there are trestle and round tables, folding chairs, linen, chair covers and a bridal table skirt, along with wine barrels and bar stools for a casual bar. Lighting runs from festoon strings and flood lights to LED uplighting, strobes, lasers and a fog machine. An all-terrain modular stage, dance floor, PA systems and a projector handle speeches and music. Practical gear rounds it out: generators, heaters, cool rooms, chafing dishes, urns, crockery, a slushie machine and helium tank kits. Yes. For the peg-and-pole range the team delivers and erects the marquee and comes back to take it down afterwards. Structure marquees can be weighted where pegs cannot go into the ground.
