About Event Rentals
Event Rentals is a family-owned hire company with a showroom in Murarrie, supplying events for more than 40 years. It handles everything from backyard birthdays and engagement parties to weddings, staff Christmas functions, university open days and major festivals. Marquees range from pop-ups and pagodas to Hoecker structures up to 25 m long, including white and glasshouse pavilions with silk linings and fairy lights. Installation comes with marquee hire, and the team can add flooring, staging, dance floors, heating and cooling. Inside the marquee, the range covers chairs, tables, bars and counters, lounge settings, crockery, cutlery and glassware. Catering hire stretches to ovens, bain-maries, hot boxes, BBQs, fridges, mobile cold rooms and prep benches, while speakers, microphones and presentation equipment cover speeches and music. Because the toilets, fencing, power and catering gear are all owned in-house, one delivery and one crew can look after the whole site. A common pattern is delivery late in the week with pick-up early the following week, so there is time to set up and pack away.
