About Joy Joe Balloon Twisting
Joy Joe Balloon Twisting is run by Joe, a balloon artist based in Sunnybank who has been entertaining at Brisbane children's parties since 2014. He trained at a balloon artist college and makes designs that go well beyond simple swords and dogs. At the party, children line up and choose from a design menu board of 48 options – think Pikachu, Spider-Man, Hello Kitty, unicorns, dinosaurs and Paw Patrol characters. Joe twists each one on the spot, getting through roughly 15 to 20 balloons an hour depending on how detailed the designs are. He arrives ten minutes before the start, sets up his own table and kit, and leaves no mess behind. Joe uses professional-grade Qualatex balloons, which are stronger and longer-lasting than cheaper ones. Birthday packages run for one, one and a half or two hours, sized for up to 10, 15 or 20 children. Optional extras include a premade character for the birthday child, balloon flower bouquets, a foil number bouquet and candy cups for party favours. Joe holds a Blue Card and public liability insurance. He also entertains at corporate family days, school fetes and community events, with separate pricing for those bookings.
