Isca House is a designer's country home on Sallys Corner Road in Exeter, a village in the Southern Highlands. The French navy and white house sits in cottage gardens and parkland that feel more English countryside than bush. The whole property is hired for one private event at a time. Couples can marry beside the lake under an arbour, then move up to the house or the glass orangerie for the meal, with the fountain lit up after dark. Inside, the dining atrium looks over the lake and the living areas open onto a rear deck and a front verandah. Outside there is a games lawn for croquet and bocce, an outdoor fireplace with swing seats, a kitchen garden, and a lake house with a round fire pit for sunset drinks. The owners host celebration breakfasts, long lunches, dinners and small cocktail events, all with the same caterer, Flavours by Dee, whose menus lean on fresh herbs and spices. The house can also arrange grazing boards of Highlands cheeses and produce bought from nearby farm gates, set out by the lake. For styling and extras the house points hirers to Highlands suppliers it knows: event styling and lighting, florists, a celebrant, a photographer and videographer, and a hire company for bigger marquees and staging when guest numbers outgrow the house. Venue hire is a set fee, and one staff member stays on site through the event. The grounds are kept quiet, so fireworks, quad bikes and vehicles on the lawns are not allowed.
