About Junction Inn Hotel
The Junction Inn Hotel is a long-standing pub on William Street in Raymond Terrace, sitting right on the bank of the Hunter River. It trades over two levels, with a busy bar and bistro downstairs and a restaurant and rooftop bar on the first floor. Functions happen upstairs. The indoor restaurant suits seated groups and mingling crowds of up to 120, while the open-air rooftop terrace looks over the water towards the paddocks of Millers Forest and takes private bookings for up to 80. Book both together and the whole upstairs level becomes yours for 120 guests or more. The set-up changes with your numbers. Groups of 10 to 40 sit together in the restaurant, 40 to 60 get a reserved area with a mix of high bar tables and lower dining tables, and 60 to 80 can choose the terrace or a reserved indoor section. From 80 guests the party spreads across both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Food is flexible. Smaller groups can order from the full menu or pre-order, while bigger groups choose shared platters of 60 pieces each, from arancini and lamb kofta to chicken skewers and mini pies, or wood-fired pizza packages. A bar tab can be set up with your own limit and drinks list, with the rules for after it runs dry agreed beforehand. You can bring your own celebration cake, decorations and balloons are welcome (no confetti), and a lift reaches the upstairs function area. For exclusive upstairs hire you may bring in a DJ or live musician, subject to the venue's approval. Send an enquiry to book and the functions coordinator will shape a package around your group.
