About Melbooth Magic
Melbooth Magic is a Springvale photo booth hire business that brings four different booths to parties, weddings and corporate events around Melbourne. Each booking comes with a friendly attendant who sets up, helps guests through the fun and packs everything away at the end. The Magic Mirror is a 5-foot mirror in a vintage gold frame that guests tap to start, with glam filters, animations and the option to sign their photos. The Open Air booth is roomy enough for large groups and can be branded with a logo, corporate colours and a custom backdrop. The iPad booth is the budget choice, capturing photos, boomerangs and GIFs on an iPad Pro camera under an RGB ring light. For corporate events, trade shows and launches, ROBO roams the room as an AI-powered robot booth, with optional AI transformations and lead capture. Packages include unlimited sessions with two 2x6 prints each, a customised template, props, a backdrop and an online gallery after the event. Larger packages add a designer scrapbook album, SMS or QR sharing and a custom start screen. The attendant arrives about 45 minutes early, and set-up and pack-down are not counted in your hire time. Booths need a standard power point and about 3 x 3 metres of floor, and an outdoor set-up needs a flat, sheltered spot. Frequently asked questions
How much space does a booth need?
Plan for about 3 x 3 metres plus room for props and a backdrop, and a standard power point. If space is tight, the team can adapt the set-up to suit the venue.
Is there a travel fee?
Delivery and set-up are free within 20 km of Springvale. Venues 20 to 50 km away carry a $50 travel fee, and venues further out a $100 fee.
Does set-up time count towards my hire?
No. The attendant arrives about 45 minutes before the start to set up and needs around 30 minutes to pack down afterwards, outside your booked hours.
How do deposits and cancellations work?
A $100 non-refundable deposit secures the booking and the balance is due before the event. The remaining amount is refunded if you cancel more than 14 days ahead.
Do guests get prints and digital copies?
Yes. Each session prints two copies on the spot with your event's custom strip design, and an online gallery link is sent afterwards so guests can download their photos.
