About Mr Party Hire
Mr Party Hire has been hiring party and event equipment from Oakleigh, in Melbourne's south-east, for close to four decades. Much of its work comes through referrals, and it covers everything from home parties to weddings, school fetes, festivals and corporate functions. Marquees lead the catalogue. Clearspan structures have no internal supports and go up to a size that seats 250 guests or takes 320 standing. Frame marquees, also free of internal poles, come in smaller footprints – the 3.6 x 4.2 metre size seats 12 at tables, while the 4.8 x 4.8 metre size seats 28 at trestles or holds 40 standing. Heavy-framed pop-ups in 3 x 3 and 6 x 3 metre sizes cope with wind and rain and can be linked for a larger covered area. Fit-out options include LED and fairy lighting, mirror balls, area and patio heaters, pedestal fans, dance floors, staging, grass matting and pool covers. Furniture spans round and trestle tables with white linen, padded and plastic chairs, bar tables and a portable bar, plus glassware, crockery, cutlery and catering equipment such as gas barbecues and ice tubs. For weddings, functions and fetes the team offers a free on-site inspection and a written quote. Item prices on the product list exclude delivery and the damage waiver. How many guests can a marquee hold?
Sizes run from pop-ups that seat about 10 guests up to clearspan marquees that seat 250 or hold 320 standing. Frame marquees list standing, trestle and round-table capacities for each size.
Is delivery included in the prices?
No. Prices on the product range exclude delivery and the damage waiver, which are added to the quote for your event address.
Can someone check my site first?
Yes. A free on-site inspection is offered so the team can look at the space, discuss requirements and suggest a solution, followed by a written quotation.
Can I heat or light the marquee?
Yes. Area heaters and patio heaters, pedestal fans for warm days, LED lights, fairy lights and mirror balls can all be added to a marquee hire.
When is the office open?
The Oakleigh office is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, and weekend or after-hours visits can be arranged by appointment.
