About Big Dog Event Group
Big Dog Event Group is a Werribee-based hire company that supplies marquees, event furniture and styling for weddings, family functions, corporate events and festivals. The team behind it brings more than 50 years of combined industry experience, and the same crew handles delivery, the build and the pack-down. The marquee range has two structures. Clearspan marquees run from 3 m to 25 m wide and extend to any length in 5 m bays, with a fully open interior – no poles in the way of tables, a stage or a dance floor. Pagoda marquees have a peaked roof and suit tighter or irregular sites. They can be joined together or used as bar and breakout zones beside a larger clearspan, and every structure is wind-rated for pegging into grass or weighting on hard surfaces. As a rough guide, a 3–6 m marquee suits a backyard party of up to about 30 guests, a 10 m span suits milestone birthdays of 30 to 80, and 15–20 m spans cover weddings and corporate events of 80 to 200. Sidewalls come in clear PVC or solid panels, with festoon lighting, uplights and subfloors available. Inside the marquee, the furniture store covers cross-back and bistro chairs, banquet, hairpin and bar tables, rattan sofas, picnic tables, umbrellas, display pieces and flooring. How does payment work?
A 50% deposit confirms a quote, with the balance due three days before the hire starts. Orders placed within seven days of delivery are paid in full to confirm the booking.
