About Mullumbimby Hire & Sales
Mullumbimby Hire & Sales is a locally owned hire business that has worked out of its Station Street shed in Mullumbimby for more than 30 years. Alongside tools and trailers, it runs a large event range and has been part of hundreds of weddings, birthday parties, community functions and corporate events around Byron Shire. Marquees are its most requested event hire. The team prefers Hoeker-style marquees, which keep poles and ropes out of the interior, and also offers silk-lined marquees (6, 9 and 10 m), clear marquees in 6 and 9 m lengths, and Hi-Top Pagodas and Quickshades for bars, catering areas and smaller gatherings. Flooring can be added, and a free site inspection helps work out the size and layout. The rest of the range covers tables, chairs, bar tables, lounges, benches and ceremony seating; plates, glassware, champagne flutes and cutlery; tablecloths, runners, napkins and chair covers; festoon and fairy lights; sound systems, speakers and microphones for speeches and music; and catering equipment, cool rooms, refrigeration, portaloos, balloons and biodegradable disposables. You can call into the shed to see furniture, tableware and linen samples before deciding. Delivery is available across Byron Shire and down to Ballina, and the crew can erect and dismantle marquees as part of a package.
