Byron Bay Wedding & Event Hire, also known as WE Hire Byron Bay, has supplied weddings and events in the Byron area since 2005, first as Byron Bay Wedding & Party Hire. Its marquees have gone up for weddings, festivals and private celebrations around Byron Bay, Bangalow and Mullumbimby. Marquees are the core of the business. The range includes Höcker frames 3, 6, 10 and 15 metres wide, with lengths that grow in 3 metre steps, plus high-sided, pagoda, quick-shade, black Röder and handcrafted sailcloth styles. Clear roofs let guests see the night sky, while silk linings and white roofs give a softer look. The team sizes each marquee to suit anywhere from 10 to 400 guests, and all marquees are delivered and installed by the crew. Inside the marquee, the hire range covers rustic timber trestles, banquet and round tables, bentwood, chiavari and folding wedding chairs, cocktail stools and ottomans, plus glassware, crockery, cutlery and linen. Caterers can hire kitchen tents, flooring, food preparation gear and service ware, and outdoor heaters and lighting are also available. There is no minimum hire. Quotes are built around your date, venue, guest numbers and the items you want, and the team works with planners, stylists and caterers to get everything to the site on time. What sizes of marquee are available?
Höcker marquees come 3, 6, 10 or 15 metres wide, with lengths in 3 metre steps, so a marquee can be sized for anything from about 10 to 400 guests.
Is there a minimum hire?
No. Weddings and events of any size can hire from the range. Quotes cover a three-day hire, and longer periods can be added if your event needs them.
Can we pick items up ourselves?
Glassware, linen, plates, cutlery, bar equipment, plastic tables and stacking bistro chairs can be collected from the warehouse. Furniture, catering equipment and marquees are delivery only.
What does the team need to know to quote a marquee?
Guest numbers, whether you want formal or cocktail seating, the marquee style, and details of the site – ground surface, whether it is level, available space and truck access.
How long is a quote held?
A quote is valid for 14 days and works as a tentative booking. After that a holding deposit is needed to secure the date and the items.
