About M2 Kitchen
M2 Kitchen is a catering company based in the Illawarra, run by chef Michael Papac and events manager Nicki Barlow, that caters at venues and private properties across the Southern Highlands. Michael trained locally and spent years overseas working with large event caterers before starting his own business, and his menus follow the seasons. Highlands properties suit the way the team works. A large refrigerated truck acts as a mobile cool room, and a full mobile kitchen and bar can be set up wherever the event is, which once meant cooking a custom Japanese menu in a tool shed for a client's outdoor event on acreage. Menus run from roaming canapés and a plated dinner of two or three courses, served alternate drop, through to shared banquets, barbecues, spit roasts and gourmet pizza buffets, with high tea and breakfast also offered. Plated packages include house-made rolls, crockery, silver cutlery and linen napkins, the tables are set for you, and a kids' menu is available. On the drinks side, RSA staff can pour wine, beer, cider, soft drinks and water from a stocked package with glassware supplied, and there is a cocktail service and tea and coffee. A private chef service is available for dinners at home, so send an enquiry to book with your date, guest numbers and venue.
