About Luke Yeaman Music
Luke Yeaman is a singer and acoustic guitarist from Lennox Head who has provided the music at more than 350 weddings, corporate events and venue gigs. His sound mixes indie-folk, RnB, country and pop, played with detailed guitar work, percussive rhythm and live loops that let one performer fill a room. What sets Luke apart for weddings is that he covers both halves of the day. He plays live as guests arrive and through the ceremony, sets a relaxed tone with acoustic sets over canapés and drinks, and then moves to DJ sets to get people dancing at the reception. Couples choose three songs for a personalised ceremony. Two packages are listed. The acoustic ceremony-and-canapés option lasts as long as 4 hours, with pre-ceremony music, the ceremony and two hours of live music for cocktails. The full-day singer-and-DJ option stretches to 8 hours and adds curated or live music through dinner and two hours of DJing. Luke has played weddings at Byron venues including Fig Tree Restaurant and Raes on Wategos, an acoustic set for a community dinner at The Lumber Yard in Bangalow, and regular weekend sessions at Lennox Head bars.
