About Bella May Styling
Bella May Styling is an event styling and hire business run from a warehouse in Ballina by founder and lead stylist Kerry, with a small team of stylists, designers and florists. The idea is that one supplier looks after every visual detail – furniture, decor, floral design and custom signage – so the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all hang together. Kerry studied styling and design, along with colour, events and flowers, and started the business after styling her own wedding. Her aim is quality hire and styling without the inflated pricing she found when planning that day. There are three ways to work with the team. Dry hire means choosing pieces from the collection, which are delivered and collected while you handle setup. Bespoke Styling, from $1,500, is for couples whose furniture is already arranged and who want design sessions, mood boards, a styling brief and on-site installation. The All-Inclusive service, from $3,500, adds floor plans, seating plans, furniture setup, coordination of decor suppliers and full pack-down. Curated ceremony and cocktail packages make choosing easier, and a photo backdrop set with a shimmer wall and neon sign suits birthdays and engagements. Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum hire order?
Yes. Dry hire within the local area carries a minimum order of $330, and delivery and collection are quoted separately depending on the venue and the items hired.
What does Bespoke Styling include?
From $1,500, it covers unlimited design consultations by phone or video, mood boards, a full styling brief, on-the-day installation and floral placement, and a stylist who stays to move ceremony pieces to the reception.
What is in a ceremony package?
The White Elegance and Rustic Charm ceremony packages are $1,160 each and include an arbour plus a registry setting, a rug and either 40 bentwood chairs with petal confetti or ten timber bench seats with jute runners.
Can we collect hire items ourselves?
Smaller orders can be picked up from the Ballina warehouse, although large and heavy pieces must be delivered. Items need to be returned on the agreed date and time to avoid late fees.
How do deposits and payment work?
A 50% deposit is due within seven days to hold your booking and is non-refundable. The balance is due six weeks before the event, and changes can be made up to six weeks out.
