About Exeter Vineyard

Exeter Vineyard is a family winery on Sallys Corner Road in Exeter, making cool-climate wines in the Southern Highlands. Founder Eddy Rossi grew up in an Italian winemaking family, studied viticulture at Charles Sturt University and has been making wine for around 40 years. His family now works the estate with him. The cellar door opens on weekends for guided tastings that take in the whole range, from Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Rosé to Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. A tasting costs $15 per person, and that amount comes off any wine you buy on the day. Groups can pair their tasting with cheese boards, antipasto platters or pizzas made at the estate, which need to be ordered ahead for any group larger than two. For something bigger, the cellar door is available for exclusive private bookings. The vineyard names birthdays and corporate gatherings among the events it hosts, with shared food menus shaped around each group and either a seated or informal set-up. Large group bookings are welcome, and formats run from long lunches to afternoon gatherings. Send an enquiry to book a tasting or ask about a private celebration.

Our rainy day was made so much better by visiting. We arrived thinking we'd have a taste and move on. 2 hours of tasting, a pizza made onsite and a good chat made our day. I'm usually a red wine drinker. Today I was sw…
