About McKay Photography
McKay Photography is a husband-and-wife business in Bowral. Darryn McKay looks after the weddings, and he has photographed more than 600 of them across a career of over 14 years, many at the Southern Highlands venues couples ask about most – Bendooley Estate, Centennial Vineyards, Milton Park, the Gibraltar Hotel and Peppers Manor House among them. His style is natural and documentary. Rather than staging a version of the day, he keeps a low profile and records what happens: the walk back down the aisle, the bridesmaids laughing among the vines, the late light over a paddock. Knowing the venues well means he understands how the light shifts through the afternoon and where the quieter photo spots are, which saves time between the ceremony and the reception. Every package includes unlimited photos on the day, with edited high-resolution colour images supplied on USB, ready to print and free of watermarks. A password-protected online gallery of highlights follows within a few days, and the full set is ready to view two to three weeks after the wedding.
