About Derek Bogart Photography
Derek Bogart is a wedding photographer based in the Southern Highlands who has been photographing weddings since 2011. He describes his work as photojournalistic and expressive – he would much rather tell the story of a day as it happens than steer couples into stiff, awkward poses. His approach is fun and laid-back, and every booking is shaped around the couple rather than a one-size-fits-all formula. Highlands weddings in his portfolio include celebrations at Bendooley Estate's stables and book barn, the Fitzroy Inn and the Robertson Hotel. Images are delivered in a mix of colour and black-and-white, with an eye for the raw moments on both sides of the family. There are three main packages. The six-hour option tells the story in a concise way, the eight-hour option runs from preparations through to the reception, and a three-hour package suits small weddings and elopements. Each includes unlimited photos, a private online gallery with full download access, a pre-wedding catch-up with timing guidance, and a sneak peek in the same week. Extra hours, a pre-wedding shoot, fine art and parent albums, a highlight slideshow set to music and a USB can all be added, and couples who love a vintage feel can include 30–40 images shot on film. What wedding packages does Derek Bogart offer?
There is a six-hour package, an eight-hour package that covers preparations through to the reception, and a three-hour package for small weddings and elopements. Packages can also be tailored by coverage time and inclusions.
What comes with every package?
Each package includes unlimited photos, a private online gallery with full download access, a pre-wedding catch-up with guidance on timings and a sneak peek within the same week.
When will we receive our wedding photos?
A sneak peek gallery arrives within seven days of the wedding, and the complete private gallery is delivered within 60 days.
How is a wedding date secured?
A 25% deposit locks in the date, a second 25% instalment is due two weeks before the wedding, and the final 50% is paid when the gallery is delivered.
Can we add film photography or extra coverage?
Yes. A film add-on includes 30–40 analogue images as high-resolution files, and extra hours, a pre-wedding shoot, albums, a slideshow and a USB can all be added to any package.
