About Red Soda Band
Red Soda Band is a wedding music company based in Sydney, started by professional musicians who met while studying at a conservatorium, and it has played more than 2,000 weddings since 2009. Every player holds a music degree, and plenty have worked on stage with international stars. It works on weddings only and runs a dedicated Southern Highlands wedding music service. Its Highlands page points to venues such as Bendooley Estate at Berrima, Centennial Vineyards near Bowral, Mali Brae Farm and The Sylvan Glen Country Estate. Ceremony options include a violin and cello duo, a string trio or quartet, harp, an acoustic singer, a vocal duo and strings with vocals. They cover the processional, signing and recessional, with about 15 minutes of background music while guests arrive. Receptions can start with an acoustic duo or solo singer over cocktails and dinner, then move to a live band of up to eight players or a DJ combo, where musicians handle the big moments and a DJ keeps the floor going. They will learn your first dance song to play live, cover the wedding party entrance and cake cutting, and can add an MC, lighting or extra musicians. The team deals directly with your planner, venue and AV supplier. Reception music begins around $2,200 for a solo singer, duo or DJ combo. Bands are priced by size: roughly $3,200 for three or four players, $4,690 for five or six and $6,050 for seven to nine. Musicians, timings, the Highlands venue and extras set the final figure, and the online builder shows prices once you enter your date.
