About Jacaranda Ceremonies

Jacaranda Ceremonies is the celebrancy of Susan Robson, an authorised marriage celebrant based at Salamander Bay. She holds a Certificate IV in Celebrancy and writes each wedding ceremony to suit the couple, whether they want something formal and reverent, light and funny, or a blend of both. Planning starts with a relaxed meeting at a place the couple chooses, where Susan learns their story and suggests rituals, readings, music and ways to involve family or friends. Couples then receive several drafts of the script to adjust, and the ceremony can include personal messages the pair share on the day. The legal side is handled from start to finish, from completing the documents beforehand to lodging them afterwards. A rehearsal is held so the wedding party knows the order of events, and on the day Susan arrives early to have everything ready. Three packages are published: an elopement option with witnesses available if needed, the Cake and Bubbles package for up to 10 guests, and the fully tailored Dream Wedding ceremony with a bridal party. Every wedding starts with a planning meeting at a location the couple chooses, followed by several script drafts that include their choice of readings, music, poetry and rituals. Susan prepares and lodges the legal documents, runs a rehearsal for the wedding party and arrives early on the day to have the ceremony set up and ready.
