About Michelle & Dusty Wedding Ceremonies
Michelle & Dusty Wedding Ceremonies is run by a mother and daughter, based in the Hunter Valley. Michelle began after officiating at her daughter Dusty's wedding, and the two now run it together. Hawks Nest is a place they know well from their own holidays, and they have held ceremonies at Hawks Nest Golf Club, on Jimmys Beach and in local public spaces. Each celebrant package is personalised. The pair help with the Notice of Intended Marriage, suggest vows and readings, and write a ceremony that can be traditional, modern or something else entirely, usually running 15 to 25 minutes. On the day the team provides a dressed signing table and two chairs, and afterwards you keep your commemorative certificate along with a book of the ceremony. Ceremony styling is an optional extra. Couples choose seating, rugs, an arbour, candles, draping, signage, aisle runners and artificial florals during a two-hour session in the team's styling suite, and the team sets it all up, clears the area of leaves and trip hazards, and packs down afterwards. Fresh flowers from your own florist can arrive a day early and be placed into the setup. Gold and Platinum packages include a PA system and microphone, and rituals can be built in if you bring the items. There is no travel fee for Hawks Nest ceremonies, whether at a venue or a private property. Send an enquiry with your date to arrange a free first chat in person or by video.

How much does a celebrant package cost?
Personalised celebrant packages start at $770 for a wedding of any size. Styling for the ceremony is priced separately, from $1,200.
What is included in the ceremony styling?
A two-hour session in the styling suite to pick seating, rugs, an arbour, candles, draping, signage, aisle runners and artificial florals. The team then sets everything up on the day and packs it away afterwards.
How do we lock in a date?
A $200 booking fee, which is non-refundable, secures your date, with the remainder payable two weeks before the wedding. Instalments are welcome, and booking requests can be lodged online without paying upfront.
How long does a ceremony take?
Most ceremonies run between 15 and 25 minutes, long enough for the legal words, your vows and any readings or rituals you want to include.
