About Imagine Cruises
Imagine Cruises is a Nelson Bay crew mostly known for its dolphin, whale and snorkelling trips, and the same vessel can be hired in full by a private group. Imagine is a 54-foot sailing catamaran that holds up to 60 guests, and it runs charters in the daytime or the evening in every season. The team lists a wide spread of reasons people hire the boat: birthday parties, weddings, Christmas and office parties, hens and bucks groups, conference outings and family gatherings. Guests have a fully stocked licensed bar, a cabin below deck, a covered foredeck for shade, clean toilets and a Bluetooth sound system for their own playlist. When the breeze suits, the crew puts the sails up rather than running on motor alone. Charters are costed on an hourly hire rate, and catering can be added per head. For groups where everyone covers their own share, the team can collect a per-head payment from each guest, which saves the organiser chasing money. Minimum numbers apply, and each quote is shaped around the size of the group, the length of the trip and the food you want. Every trip leaves from dock C at d'Albora Marina in Nelson Bay. A private charter can stay inside the bay or head out to Broughton Island on request. Children of any age are welcome on board. Boarding involves about five or six steps, so the boat is not set up for wheelchairs, and guests are asked to wear flat shoes rather than heels or wedges. Send an enquiry through Party Hero with your date, numbers and occasion for a tailored quote.
