About Art Cafe Bowral
Art Cafe is an art studio in Springett's Arcade, Bowral, run by artist Corinne Dany. On a normal trading day it works a little like a restaurant: guests sit at a table, choose a craft from a menu of options such as watercolour, pastels, air-dry clay, collage or painting a ceramic piece, and have the materials brought over. It is relaxed, unhurried and made for people who don't think of themselves as artists. Outside those hours the studio takes private paint parties. Hens nights, birthdays, corporate team building and work Christmas parties are all on the list, and Corinne shapes each one around the group. You can choose from the studio's range of painting designs or ask for one made for the occasion. Bookings need at least 10 people and run on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings, with a small deposit per guest held against the final bill. Food and drink are flexible. Groups can bring their own snacks and wine, and the studio supplies glasses, or catering from a local platter business can be added. There are no stairs into the studio and accessible toilets are a short lift ride away. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers to start planning the night.

How many people do we need for a private paint party?
Private group bookings need a minimum of 10 people. They run on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings, and a deposit of $10 per person secures the night and comes off the final balance.
Can we bring our own food and alcohol?
Yes. Guests can bring snacks and their own alcohol, and the studio provides glasses. Catering such as grazing platters can also be organised through the studio's local catering partner.
Do we need to know how to paint?
Not at all. The studio is built around low-pressure creativity for every skill level, and Corinne helps each guest along the way. All materials are set out at your table and the clean-up is done for you.
What will we paint at the party?
Groups choose from the studio's range of painting designs, or Corinne can create a design especially for your group, such as one that suits a hens night or a work Christmas party.
Is there parking and easy access?
Parking is available in front of and behind Springett's Arcade. There are no stairs into the studio, and accessible toilets are upstairs via the glass lift just outside the door.
