About Darling Events

Darling Events is a florist and event stylist run by sisters Trisha and Sarah, based in south-western Sydney. Their Southern Highlands work includes a wedding at The Stables at Bendooley Estate and another at Growwild, a flower farm venue in the region. Because the florals and the styling sit with one team, the people who draw up the design also make the arrangements, prepare the props and install the feature pieces. Styling covers floral arrangements and installations, styled tables, themed setups, statement pieces and the small finishing details. The pair keep a hire collection of hand-picked and custom-made props, from vintage crystal and floral vessels to linens, arches and furniture. Some items are installed only by their team, others go out for DIY hire, and anything not in stock they will try to source or make. Beyond weddings they style milestone birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, corporate functions and intimate dinners. Floral jobs are limited each weekend, so for a wedding they suggest booking nine to twelve months ahead. After the wedding you keep the flowers, apart from anything in the hire-only range. Service Details

Their hire range of hand-picked and custom-made pieces covers vintage crystal, linens, floral vessels, arches and furniture, some for team installation only and some for DIY hire collected Thursday or Friday and returned Monday.

Couples take the flowers home afterwards, except anything from the hire-only range, and leftovers are taken away or composted at bump-out.
