About Hellfire Paintball
Hellfire Paintball is an outdoor field in Salt Ash, on the Port Stephens side of Stockton Bight. Groups book a time, gear up on site and then spend the day running between barrels, timber walls and forts across a set of themed battlegrounds. The Napalm Field is the biggest, with two forts to defend and lots of cover for ambushes. Another field asks teams to fight their way uphill to a walled position at the top, and the Turbulence Field is an oval with the body of a plane parked in the middle for both sides to fight over. Pricing is set per player, and people in the same group can choose different packages. The entry package includes a mask, marker, camo overalls, an ammo belt and podded paint, along with armour for women, plus 300 paintballs. Larger packages lift the count to 500, 700 or 1,000 balls, and extra paint can be bought on the day. Hellfire pitches the day as a bucks party outing, and it opens a field for any group of eight or more. Smaller groups can be combined with other players. Players must be at least 12, and anyone under 18 needs a waiver signed by an adult. Drinks are available on site, and games run in rain or shine unless it becomes unsafe. Send an enquiry with your group size and a couple of preferred dates to book.

Frequently asked questions
How many players do we need to book a field?
A group of eight or more players can open a field. Groups smaller than eight can usually be placed into a public game with other players, and private sessions can be discussed when you enquire.
What do the packages include?
Package 1 at $70 includes a mask, marker, camo overalls, an ammo belt, podded paint, armour for women and 300 paintballs. Packages 2 to 4 raise the count to 500, 700 or 1,000 balls for $100, $140 or $170.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes. Players must be at least 12 years old, which is the minimum age for paintball in NSW, and anyone under 18 needs a parent or adult to sign the waiver on their behalf.
Does everyone in the group need the same package?
No. Each player picks their own package, since some people get through far more paint than others. Upgrades and extra paintballs can be bought on the day of the game.
Do games still run in the rain?
Yes. Play continues through rain, hail or sunshine, and a game is only called off when the weather makes it unsafe to keep playing on the fields.
