About Little Pegg Studio
Little Pegg Studio is a small art space on King Street in Raymond Terrace, run by owner and artist Kelly. The room is filled with colour, bunting and finished canvases, set up for hands-on making rather than quiet gallery viewing. For adults, Kelly runs paint and sip sessions for private groups. Each guest has an easel, a 40x50cm canvas, acrylic paints, brushes, an apron and glassware, and Kelly guides everyone through the design one stage at a time. Groups need at least five people and usually top out at eight, which keeps the evening relaxed and gives everyone plenty of help. Guests bring their own drinks and snacks, or Kelly can supply a snack spread for a small extra charge. The studio also hosts kids’ birthday art parties for ages five and up. The birthday child picks a theme, and guests make one main project together, such as painting a canvas, building a small world from clay and craft supplies, mixing slime or decorating a potion bottle and wand. Parties run for two hours with time for food, cake, dress-up photos or presents. Kelly handles the clean-up afterwards.

Frequently asked questions
How many people do we need for a private paint and sip session?
A private session goes ahead with at least five painters. Eight is the comfortable maximum, though the studio can fit up to 12 people if your group is larger. Send an enquiry with your preferred dates to arrange one.
What does the $55 paint and sip seat include?
Each seat comes with a 40x50cm canvas, an easel, acrylic paints, brushes and an apron, plus glassware for your drinks. Kelly hosts and guides the group through the painting from start to finish.
Can we bring our own drinks and food?
Yes. Guests bring their own drinks and snacks to paint and sip nights. If you would rather not organise food, Kelly can put together snacks for an extra $15 per person.
How do the kids' birthday art parties work?
Parties suit ages five and up and run for two hours, in a morning or afternoon slot. They include digital invitations, a themed art project and dress-up photos or present opening. One parent of the birthday child stays for the party.
How much is a kids' art party and what about food?
A studio party costs $330 for up to 10 children, with extra children at $30 each to a total of 12. The host brings the food and cake. There is no kitchen, but a prep table and small fridge are available.
