About Port Stephens DJs and Event Hire
Port Stephens DJs and Event Hire, which traded as Port Stephens DJ Service until it widened its range, brings a mobile DJ set-up to weddings, private parties and work functions around Port Stephens. Every package includes a lights and sound rig and a large music library, and guests can put in as many song requests as they like. For weddings there are three tiers. The Classic package covers the reception with five hours of DJ time, while Deluxe stretches to seven hours across the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The top tier runs for eight hours with the DJ also taking the MC role and a LOVE sign included. Each wedding package comes with a wireless microphone for speeches and a reception planner to map out the night. Private functions are booked in blocks: a three-hour Small package, a four-hour Medium package with a wireless microphone, and a five-hour Large package where an MC can be added. Extras can be added to any booking – smoke and bubble machines, a wishing well, a large illuminated LOVE sign, a 360 photo booth, a Barbie photo box for children aged ten and under, and an inflatable 124-inch outdoor cinema screen. What do the wedding DJ packages include?
All three wedding packages include the lights and sound set-up, a wireless microphone, unlimited requests from the music library and a wedding reception planner. Classic covers a five-hour reception, Deluxe adds the ceremony and cocktail hour over seven hours, and the top tier runs eight hours with MC duties and a LOVE sign.
Can the DJ also act as MC?
Yes. The eight-hour wedding package includes DJ and MC hire for the full eight hours, and the five-hour Large private function package lists an MC for the event as an option.
How long are the private function packages?
There are three: Small is three hours, Medium is four hours and Large is five hours. All include lights and sound and unlimited requests, and Medium and Large add a wireless microphone. Extra DJ hours can be added.
What extras can be added to a booking?
Add-ons include an extra DJ hour, a smoke machine, a bubble machine, a wishing well, a light-up LOVE sign, a 360 photo booth, a life-size Barbie photo box for children ten and under, and an inflatable 124-inch outdoor cinema screen.
