About Star Events Hire
Star Events Hire is a photo booth business based in Berrima that sets up booths at weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and corporate events across the Southern Highlands. Its photo booth package is built to include everything an event needs, with room to customise backdrops, photo strips and print designs. Two booth styles are offered. The open-air booth has guests posing in front of a backdrop – white drapes, gold sequins, crushed velvet or a green hedge wall in the photos – which leaves space for whole bridal parties, families and work teams in one frame and lets the set-up double as part of the room styling. The enclosed booth has a smaller footprint and a more private feel for intimate rooms or tucked-away corners. Prints come as strips or postcards, and templates can carry the couple's names or the guest of honour's age, with colours matched to the event. Guests receive printed photos and digital copies they can share. For Highlands garden and barn weddings the team picks props in softer tones, such as flower crowns, picnic throws and timber signs, and positions the booth between ceremony and reception spaces so guests drift in naturally. An attendant stays with the booth throughout, handing out props and helping every guest get a turn. What is the difference between the open-air and enclosed booths?
The open-air booth uses a backdrop and suits large groups and visible styling. The enclosed booth has a compact footprint and gives guests a more private, close-up photo moment.
Can the prints be personalised?
Yes. You choose the backdrop, photo strip or postcard format and a template design, which can include names, an age or company branding in colours that suit the event.
Is someone there to run the booth?
Yes. An attendant runs the booth for the whole booking, sets out the props and encourages guests to take a turn.
Do guests get digital copies as well as prints?
Guests get printed photos on the night, and digital copies are also provided so the pictures can be shared after the event.
Can the booth be set up outdoors?
It can, with level ground, access to power and a covered position. The team suggests planning shade, wind and a wet-weather backup before choosing an outdoor spot.
