About Walkers Party Hire
Walkers Party Hire has spent more than half a century hiring out marquees and event equipment, and it takes on weddings and large events across the Southern Highlands, from Bowral and Mittagong to Berrima, Moss Vale and Bundanoon. There is no Highlands branch, so every order is prepared, delivered and collected from the company's one warehouse. The crew handles planning, installation and pull-down, so the marquee arrives and leaves without you lifting a pole. The marquees are German-built Hoecker frames in widths from 3m to 12m, in white, clear or all black, including a clear version trimmed in black. They are pegged into grass or held with weights on hard ground such as pavers, concrete, tiles and decking. A clear marquee lets guests see the garden or paddocks around them while staying out of the weather. Inside, the marquee can take black ply, woodgrain or timber-look floors, black carpet tiles, fairy and festoon lights, draping, staging and a dance floor. Walkers also supplies tables and chairs, glow furniture that lights up, bars, heaters, umbrellas, picket fencing, barriers, linen, glassware, plates and cutlery. Heating equipment is available for the colder months, and a pool flooring system can turn a swimming pool into extra floor space. One fee pays for a hire lasting two or three days, and gear for a weekend event normally goes out on Thursday or Friday and comes back on Monday or Tuesday. No bond is taken, though card details are kept on file to cover any loss or damage. A project coordinator can visit your property beforehand to check the ground and recommend flooring, and you can send an enquiry for a quote.

Does Walkers have a branch in the Southern Highlands?
No. There is no Highlands office, so every order is packed and sent from the company's one warehouse, with the crew delivering, installing and collecting on site. Bowral, Mittagong, Moss Vale, Berrima and Bundanoon are among the towns it covers.
What marquee sizes and colours can we hire?
Hoecker marquees come in widths from 3m to 12m, in white, clear or all black, and other sizes can be discussed. Because the frames are modular, length and width can be combined to fit your site.
Can a marquee go up on uneven ground or over a pool?
Yes. Walkers can build flooring to suit uneven ground or to cover a swimming pool, and a project coordinator can visit your Highlands property to work out the right set-up.
How much does marquee hire cost?
Marquee prices are not listed online. Each quote depends on the marquee size, flooring, lighting, the site and delivery to your address, so send an enquiry with the details of your event.
How long is the hire period and is a bond required?
A single fee covers two or three days, and weekend orders normally arrive Thursday or Friday and are picked up Monday or Tuesday. No bond is charged, though card details are held in case anything is lost or damaged.
