About Mark Dabin Music
Mark Dabin, a full-time acoustic musician based in the Illawarra, plays around 160 shows a year across weddings, functions, pubs and clubs. In the Southern Highlands he plays weddings around Bowral and the surrounding area, and his gig list includes regular nights at The Argyle Hotel in Moss Vale, The Royal in Bowral and Mittagong RSL. His sound is fingerstyle percussive guitar with vocals, built up with looped beats and foot percussion. Package A starts at $700 and covers about 20 minutes of instrumentals ahead of the ceremony, the entry, signing and recessional songs performed live, and up to 90 minutes during canapes. Package B keeps him playing through the ceremony, canapes and reception from $1,600. Package C brings in a partner business's DJ and MC for the reception, with prices starting at $1,700. Ceremony songs he plays include Canon in D, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay picks, and he can learn a special request or play a specific recorded version through his system. His wider song list runs past 400 covers from the 1960s onwards, and the Aussie Song Book show sticks to classic rock from Australia and New Zealand. For a bigger sound he can bring a second vocalist to share the singing, or add percussion for a trio. He brings his own sound for every part of the day and changes the set to suit the crowd. He is often booked well in advance, so send an enquiry with your date early.
