About Port Stephens Animal Adventures

Port Stephens Animal Adventures is an indoor wildlife attraction at Bobs Farm, home to close to 300 animals. Pools of sharks and rays sit beside reptile enclosures, an aviary of macaws and finches, a small farmyard with sheep, goats and an alpaca, and three indoor billabongs holding more than 20 crocodiles, led by Rocksteady, a 4.8-metre saltwater croc. Visits are hands-on. Guests can pat and feed the sharks, rays and eels from the edge, or pay a little extra to wade into the shallow pools with them. Keepers bring out snakes, lizards and turtles for photos, and the MEGA ticket adds holding a baby crocodile, time with the macaws and turtle feeding. Older children and grown-ups can also book the croc swim, which puts them in the water behind a clear barrier, followed by a large shark and grouper feed. Kids' birthday parties are booked for a minimum of 10 guests. The package reserves a party area with tables and seating for one hour, includes all-day entry, shark and ray food and a group snake or lizard encounter. Families can bring their own food and drinks, with a fridge, freezer and microwave on hand. Optional upgrades add the in-water experience or MEGA extras. Send an enquiry to book a party date.
