About Blake's Wedding Cars
Blake's Wedding Cars is a family-run wedding car service in Port Stephens, built around a collection of classic and modern Jaguars and Daimlers. It looks after the bridal party's transport from pick-up to the reception, so the couple can concentrate on the day itself. The classic cars include the chrome-heavy Jaguar Mk 5, the roomy Mk 7, Mk 8 and Mk 10, a compact Mk 2 and a Daimler 250 with a sunroof. For bigger groups there are Daimler DS420 limousines carrying up to seven, in Old English White or Royal Blue, and a custom stretched Jaguar XJ6. Modern options include the XJR, XJ8, XKR and a long-wheelbase XJ, plus a Porsche 944 that suits the groom and a groomsman or two heading to the ceremony early. On the wedding day, couples can mix cars in any combination. Drivers are uniformed, ribbons come in white or your own colours, and a red carpet can be laid out. The drivers work with your photographer to reach each photo location, with bubbles, cold drinks and snacks on hand while the pictures are taken. Hire runs for up to four hours from pick-up to arrival at the reception, and a getaway car for the end of the night is available too. The cars are also available for milestone birthdays and anniversaries, and the modern Jaguars can be hired for other transport needs. How many people fit in each car?
The Daimler DS420 limousines and the stretched XJ6 carry up to seven passengers, the Mk 7 and Mk 8 up to five, most other sedans up to four, and the Mk 2, Daimler 250 and Porsche 944 around three.
What is included on the wedding day?
Uniformed drivers, white or coloured ribbon, an optional red carpet, help reaching your photo locations, and champagne, water, soft drinks and snacks while the photos are taken. Hire covers up to four hours from pick-up to the reception.
Are all the cars air conditioned?
Most are, including the Mk 5, Mk 7, Mk 8, DS420 limousines and the modern Jaguars. The Jaguar Mk 2 and Daimler 250 are not air conditioned, which is worth weighing up for a summer wedding.
Can the cars be booked for occasions other than weddings?
Yes. The cars are offered for special birthdays and anniversaries as well as weddings, and the modern Jaguars can be hired for other transport needs. A getaway car for the end of the wedding night is also available.
