About Thierry Boudan Photography
Thierry Boudan Photography is a small wedding team based in Newcastle, made up of Thierry, Wayne and Pat. Thierry, who grew up in Mauritius and pronounces his name Tee-air-ree, has photographed over 1,500 weddings, and his site says he also shoots across Port Stephens. Magazine work shaped his eye for composition, but on the day he stays in the background and steps in with simple direction only for portraits and family photos. His Port Stephens work includes Maddy and Desai's wedding, with vows in a park above Fingal Bay, sunset portraits on the rocks and sand, and a reception at Saltwater Restaurant that ended with a champagne spray. Another couple, Amanda and Brendan, married at The Anchorage after meeting him at a wedding expo held there. Knowing a venue ahead of time helps him plan sunset portraits and find cover if rain arrives. A candid film of the day can be added, as can a content creator who is there from the last of the preparations to the end of the formalities and shares raw photos and clips within a day. Engagement shoots are offered as a relaxed warm-up, and Thierry helps plan the photo timeline in advance. Finished images are fully edited in high resolution and delivered through a private online gallery with downloads open to guests, usually around four weeks after the wedding.
