About Caitlin Amy Photography
Caitlin Amy Photography is the work of Caitlin, a wedding photographer based in Newcastle who counts Port Stephens among her home patches. Her Port Stephens weddings include Tori and Daniel's intimate celebration for 20 guests at Salt at Shoal Bay, and Nat and Brenden's ceremony at Dutchmans Beach Reserve followed by a reception at the Shoal Bay Country Club. She also photographed Natalie and Simon's indoor ceremony at the Country Club when wild weather kept everyone inside. Her list of local venues she loves takes in The Anchorage, Bannisters, Little Beach Boathouse, Saltwater Restaurant and Stanley Park. The approach is relaxed: rather than arranging people for hours, she lets moments happen with your family and friends, then takes charge for the group photos and couple portraits. Expect a light, bright edit with warm tones, and fair warning that she often cries at ceremonies and speeches. Every collection starts with a planning session, and Caitlin keeps in touch to help set ceremony and photo timings. Half Day gives five hours of coverage and 300 to 500 images, while All Day follows you from getting ready to the first dance. The largest collection, All Day plus Late Night Party, adds a second photographer and a Queensberry album, and a photo and video collection brings a videographer and a short film. Galleries are delivered within three to six weeks with a full print release and a box of prints. Short elopement coverage of one or two hours is also available, and a $900 non-refundable deposit reserves your date.
