About Main Event Management
Main Event Management is a wedding and party hire business serving Port Stephens. Its focus is supply rather than planning: the team delivers the furniture and decor you choose, sets it up before guests arrive and packs it away afterwards. Ceremony packages are the simplest way to book. The Standard White Ceremony brings a tri arbour with a flower garland, 30 white Americana fold-out chairs, a signing table and chairs for the couple, while the Premium version adds more chairs, shepherd’s hooks, a jute aisle runner and a choice of arbour. A Magical Backyard package pairs any arbour with 30 premium chairs in your preferred style. Items can also be hired one by one: hexagon, circle, four-post and rustic door arbours, Tiffany and timber chairs, picnic tables, wine barrels, welcome signs, a donut wall, giant lawn games and marquees. Their gallery shows headland ceremonies, long-table receptions, garden marquees and baby shower set-ups. Park and beach ceremonies are a regular job, and council conditions mean set-up and pack-down happen on the same day, with the crew staying nearby until you have finished. Can Main Event Management set up a ceremony in a park or on a beach?
Yes. Public park and beach ceremonies are common for them. Council rules mean everything goes up and comes down on the same day, so the team sets up before you arrive and waits until you finish to pack away.
Do they plan the whole wedding?
No. Their focus is supply – they deliver, set up and pack up the items you hire, rather than designing and organising the wedding from start to finish as a planner would.
Can I hire items individually instead of a package?
Yes. Arbours, chairs, tables, wine barrels, easels, signs, a donut wall, lawn games and marquees are all listed individually, so you can build your own set-up or add pieces to a package.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as possible. They accept bookings more than 12 months out and can also take shorter-notice jobs, but a late booking risks the date already being taken.
