MeOhMy Flowers is Megan, a florist based in Lake Macquarie with more than 21 years in weddings and over 500 weddings behind her. She works in a soft, romantic, garden-inspired style using seasonal Australian-grown flowers, covering bouquets and flower pins, ceremony installations, aisle pieces and reception tables. Port Stephens is one of the areas she delivers to, and one of her love notes comes from a couple who married at Shoal Bay Country Club. The process is straightforward. After your enquiry, Megan sends a mood board with a fully itemised proposal, and a 30% non-refundable deposit with signed terms holds the date. Final details are settled six weeks before the wedding, and you can settle the rest in one payment or split it into three. Delivery, set-up and pack down are extra and listed line by line, and the price guide puts Port Stephens delivery at $290. On the day the team installs everything, then comes back the following day to pack down. Ceremony arrangements are designed to be carried through to the reception, and hire pieces such as ceremony frames, crystal, candles and vases are there to tie the styling together. Sustainability is built into the studio. Designs never use floral foam, green waste is composted, rainwater fills the buckets and vases, and two seedlings are planted for every wedding booked.
