School Formal Venues in Belmore

Choosing the Right School Formal Venue

For a Belmore formal, students have a chandeliered reception room and a club with a full set of function spaces. The Victorian @ Clarence House hosts formals between its weddings and gala dinners, and Canterbury League Club counts formals and graduations among the events it runs.

Questions a formal committee can settle in Belmore:

Cohort size: The Victorian takes 110 to 320, and the club's Showroom handles a year group of up to 500.
Dancing: both have a dance floor, and the Showroom pairs its floor with an immersive audio-visual setup.
Presentations: the club's Paragon Room has a stage, dressing rooms and three projector screens for 250 guests.
Photos: the crystal chandeliers and bronze Tiffany chairs at The Victorian @ Clarence House give the arrival shots a formal backdrop.
Planning help: Clarence House assigns a coordinator, and the club's events team manages layouts and AV.

Parents dropping off at Clarence House can use its free dedicated lot off-site.

The Showroom's own bathrooms keep students inside the function area for the whole night.
The Paragon Room's dressing rooms suit a school with a student band or a performance item.
A smaller cohort of up to 130 can use the Terrace, with its own bar and floor-to-ceiling glass.
Chefs at the club tailor the menu to the booking, including dietary needs across the year group.

What a Clarence House formal package covers

The room is held for one event, so no other function shares the space on formal night.
Room styling, a cake table, waiters and a dance floor with audio and lighting are part of the price.
The menu is written for the event, which helps schools catering for a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
A Friday or Sunday formal costs less than a Saturday, a useful lever for a committee budget.
