About Bassano Red Hill

Bassano is a single studio for two adults in the Red Hill hinterland, designed as a quiet, private retreat in a rural setting. It suits a couple travelling in for a wedding at one of the nearby wineries, or a weekend marking a birthday among the cellar doors. The 50-square-metre studio has a queen bed, an ensuite with rain shower, and a slow-soak concrete bath lit by a skylight overhead. A sliding wall of fluted glass divides the space, and the furnishings include vintage pieces by well-known 20th-century designers, along with a TV and a shelf of design books. A double-sided wood fire warms the room, and outside a 43-square-metre deck with alfresco dining and a firepit looks over the paddocks, home to two donkeys called Peppi and Guido. A continental breakfast of muesli, yoghurt, fruit, bread and milk is supplied. Tedesca is a short walk away, and the owners share a list of nearby restaurants, producers and cellar doors, plus a local private driver for transfers. The studio is strictly for two guests, and it can't be used for functions or parties.

House Rules & Stay Details

Check-in is at 3pm and check-out at 10am. The studio takes a maximum of two adults; children and pets aren't allowed, and it's non-smoking. Robes, slippers to take home, bathroom products and a continental breakfast are supplied. No functions or parties are permitted, and the outdoor areas aren't used between 11pm and 7am.

Cancelling 14 or more days out brings a full refund, within 14 days half the cost is refunded, and inside 7 days the full amount is kept.
